- Under whose kosher certification ("hashgacha") are your products produced?
Our products are produced under strict Orthodox supervision and
are all certified Kosher L'Mehadrin. Our cheese lines are all KOSHER CHOLOV YISROEL (the highest level of Kosher certification) and KOSHER FOR PASSOVER all year long.
Some of our Italian cheeses are certified Kosher Cholov Yisroel by Rabbi Shalom Elmaleh of Milan, Italy. Our parmigiano Reggiano is certified by Rabbi Belinow of Milan, Italy, and several other Italian cheeses are certified kosher by Rabbi Shlesinger of Geneva, Switzerland.
The French cheeses we carry are certified Kosher Cholov Yisroel and Kosher for Passover all year long by either the Beth Din of Strasbourg, France or by Rabbi Schlesinger of Geneva, Switzerland.
The olive line is certified kosher pareve under the supervision of Rabbi Gershon M. Garelik of Milan, Italy. His kashrut stamp is widely recognized and accepted around the world.
Our newest line, Jack's Gourmet deli products, are certified by the OU and the Va'ad HaKashrus of Flatbush.

- Do you ship to addresses in Canada?
At this time, we do not ship our products outside the United States. Because many of our items are perishable, the possibility of custom delays at the border makes shipping to Canada problematic. In the near future, this may become a possibility.
- Are your products available in stores in my area?
Our products are sold in many kosher stores and upscale markets around the United States. If you do not see our products where you shop, please ask the store manager to contact us directly. If you prefer, give us a call and tell us about a store in your area that you think should carry our products. Use the Contact Us link to find our phone/email information.
- Can I ship my order using UPS Ground?
Below is a map showing the UPS Ground Shipping time table from our warehouse shipping address in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, 07071.
Use the map to locate in which colored area you live. If you live in the yellow or brown areas, with 1-2 days transit time, your package can ship safely with UPS Ground with all perishable items guaranteed to remain fresh. If you live in any of the other areas, 2nd Day Air Shipping is required for orders containing cheese products.
 - My favorite cheese is not always available. Why?
We deal with many different cheese producers from many European countries. There are times that the products we sell are simply not available. In addition, though we air-ship some of our cheese products, we also ship some of our cheese products by boat and we sometimes encounter shipping and/or customs-related delays.
We try our best to keep our products in stock all the time, and especially around Jewish holiday times.
